Worms with a napoleon complex, with a kind of Apocalypse Now/Aliens/The Expendables style of military comradery, one-liners, personal jabs and sense of humor. These Worms would have larger then life personalitys, giant egos, excessive over confidence, with military sensibilities and clothing, all wrapped up in a adorable tiny worm with a squeaky voice.Ī sort of a characterture of the early 80's 90's action movies heros. I would personally love to see an infusion of the personality depicted in the original Worms 1 game cover art. ![]() Sort of like a cartoon 101 style, devoid of almost any personality. My main gripe with T17's art is the style, which I think is a bit too clinically cartoony. To be fair, it's just concept art, it doesn't need to look great. Love Jazz Jackrabbit, I played that game to death growing up, the character designs are fantastic. The first thing that it reminded me of was Devil Devan, the archenemy of Jazz Jackrabbit. ![]() Its quite rough, but you get the general idea. Here's a mock up of what it might look like in a Worms 1 Remake. I'd love to see it used in a game, or even as a 3D model, anyone can feel free to copy the style for their own purposes, I'd love to see spin offs. His mouth is very beak like, I found the original is a bit too round, so it ended up taking a more beak like shape which gives it slightly more aggressive predator-like features. This would be a damn fine art style for it. A Worms game fueled by community input, following the same path as Worms Armageddon but taking advantage of everything modern computers can offer. I've always wanted to see if it would be possible to gather a few talented people on this forum and make the perfect Worms game from scratch, since anything made by Team17 seems to be a disappointment for Worms veterans. :p Not that there's anything wrong with that, it looks awesome. I don't know why but the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw your drawing was a pterodactylus. ![]()
